On my skin and in my opinion it’s a smooth woody/citrus opening but that fades away fast to a more fruity, sweet and powdery scent with a wood base. Of course that isn't nearly enough for the impractical fragrance junkies like most of the people here (myself included), but the thought occured to me that I can probably cover every situation i'd ever need if I wanted to, and this fragrance would be in the ten id choose from my collection.

The compliments and attention are plus points but the personal satisfaction that I get from this is uffffff. The original has a better opening that is fruitier as opposed to the boring bergamoty and piney opening of the intense version. It's more its own thing, instead of reminding of the dreadful aventus (the absolu is nice, but the OG is trash -IMOO).It changes every so slightly during a wearing until it gets to the base where it becomes intriguing, but by then my day is pretty much over. As it dries down, the woods and leather seem to make an appearance but eventually on my skin all I could smell was heavy incense with a hint of fruit. Overall, it’s an ok fragrance, not worth all the hype IMO, but could be a great option for a clean cut conservative sprayer type of guy.

However, I would not recommend wearing it for formal occasions as it might smell too cheerful and happy. Loved the original, but felt it wasn't rich enough or deep enough to set itself apart from others in the same general family.

The presentation is standard, but the scent's versatility stands out, making it suitable for various occasions.

In general, on paper, the smell can last for days (the better) and it has a pyramid if it is done well!I just read through the reviews, and it seems that most people perceive this as a masculine fragrance, which surprised me, because this is way, way sweeter than anything my own husband would wear. Looking at the top notes of lemon and bergamot, you might be expecting fresh and zesty citrus but nope, it leans towards the sweeter side.
