This calculator works out the resistor value to accompany an LED by entering the battery voltage along with the LED forward voltage and typical current. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. The coverage of this new edition has been carefully brought in line with the core unit 'Electrical and Electronic Principles' of the 2007 BTEC National Engineering specification from Edexcel.
