About this deal

At just 4.5 syns for one of these cake bars, Fibre one cake barsare very low in syns, allowing you to have up to three before using your whole 15 syn daily allowance. Eight: Refrigerate for 2 hours before lifting the tiffin out of the tin (using the overhanging clingfilm) onto a chopping board and cutting into bars with a sharp knife. 💭 Expert tips

Allow them to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then take out of the tins and let them cool completely. Rich, flavourful, and addictive no-bake treat! 15. Malteser Chocolate Cake Grab the recipe here! via sainsburysmagazine.co.uk I tend not to have them in the house for that very reason, but very occasionally I will buy a box and stash it away to make this amazing no bake Malteser slice. These cake bars are low in syns since they are sweetened with sweetener and use ingredients such as fat reduce cocoa which keeps them low in calories. Fibre One Cake Bars Syn Values

Can this recipe be made dairy free or vegan?

Chocolate: I used milk chocolate; any brand of chocolate will do. If you don’t want this tiffin too sweet, then you can go for dark chocolate. If you’re a sweet tooth, you can use white chocolate or go for a mixture. Store: The no-bake chocolate traybake can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge in an airtight container. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for a week....but they won't last that long! The Maltesers will slightly soften over time but it doesn't affect the flavour.

Please, for the love of god, don’t take out the coffee. People I know aren’t the biggest coffee drinkers, and some even hate it, but they all say they can’t taste it in the recipe and it is delicious. You will need either a 20x20cm or 32x22cm baking tin, baking paper to line the tin and a small palette knife to spread the chocolate over the traybake. Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water (ensuring the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl), then pour over the top of the mixture in the tray. Crush your leftover Maltesers and sprinkle over the top. Leave the whole thing to set in the fridge for three hours or until set.The malt powder (or malt drink as you may understand it) is designed to make the cake taste slightly more Malteser like – and it is delicious. I used75g to increase the flavour, and it is dreamy. Either way, it helps it create a nice sponge, and along with the spread and buttercream, you don’t need the sponge to be oh-so-malty. Add the melted butter, chocolate and syrup mixture to a bowl, followed by the digestives and Maltesers (leave a few aside to decorate the top). Mix together well. Imagine a biscuit. Now make it crunchier and a little bit more fancy. You’ve reached biscotti. Now add Maltesers and Baileys. You’ve reached heaven. One thing I will say AGAIN with this fudgey type cake recipe is that the coffee is IMPORTANT. Don’t worry, you can NOT taste the coffee in the cake, but it just enhances the richness of the chocolate in the sponge and takes it to the next level. This is such a winner! It’s yummy, cheap and super easy to make! Just a tip: Make this a day before so it has time to freeze properly and adjust the amount of maltesers and raspberries to your taste. Don’t overdo the raspberries as it might be overpowering. 6. Malteser Cookie Bars Grab the recipe here! via lightscamera-bake.com

Golden Syrup (Honey): You can use golden syrup or honey; I use whichever one I have in my house at the time. It’s really moist (sorry anyone who hates that word – it is TRUE!) so keeps well in a tin for up to 4 days. This easy no-bake chocolate traybake is super simple to make and perfect for bake sales, parties, and even Afternoon Tea! It's pretty much the same delicious recipe as my mini egg tiffin, but swaps the Cadbury mini eggs for malty Maltesers! Malteser Tiffin Disposable Piping Bags these are a must buy if you’re planning on some cake decorating, they are so easy to use. I know, these are not great for the environment. But using reusable bags takes so much detergent to get them clean, I’m honestly not sure of the best option. This one’s sooo rich it can buy a house in Beverly Hills! Joking aside, this one’s soo gooey and decadent. 20. Malteser No Churn Ice Cream Grab the recipe here! via pomegranatedays.co.za Another out of this world Malteser recipe to spoil yourself with! I doubt if one slice is enough – I didn’t stop until the sixth slice! 13. 32 – Second Maltesers Milkshake Grab the recipe here! The recipe card with ingredient quantities and detailed instructions can be found at the bottom of the post Bake these, and your face will hurt because you’ll be smiling, chewing and gurning for another one.” – Jamie Oliver
