About this deal

Lilo is jsut the characters that you couldn't help but to really cheer and hope nothing but the best for them. Also hoping that everything will work out in the end for both of them. And I do, I really do from the bottom of my heart.

I loved how Lily and Lo realized that they needed to change to have a healthy relationship. Sure, they still have a long way to go but the urge to work on their problems is there. My last tear falls. I can’t move to wipe it. I am transfixed by Loren Hale, my everything. I struggled to finish this book, “Ricochet”. Not out of boredom, but mostly due to the frustrating fact that the story just wasn’t veering in the direction that I wanted it to go to. It was more a struggle against the tide for me to get to the ending. Ps: loved to buddy read this novella with my loves, Aliki and vio, and can’t wait to read the 3rd book altogether and with milo🤭🤭 I want to give this 4 stars, but I honestly can't considering the plot and how some unnecessary parts were added also with other family drama especially Ryke and Daisy. So 3 stars.H (Hero) rating: 3 stars. Duncan. He was alright. I didn’t feel like we really got a good idea on who he was supposed to be though. Daisy Calloway is finally eighteen. With her newfound independence, she can say goodbye to her overbearing mother and continue her modeling career. Next stop: Paris. Fashion Week begins with a bang, and Daisy uncovers the ugly reality of the industry. She wants to prove to her family that she can live on her own, but when everything spirals out of control, she turns to Ryke to keep her secrets. The minute after I finished Addicted to You I started listening to Ricochet. Safe to say I am becoming addicted to this series! In this companion novel, Lo and Lily were apart and they were working on getting rid of their addiction-- Lo being in a rehab miles away while Lily being celibate and spending her time with her sisters Rose and Daisy.

All in all i am super excited and can't wait to read the rest of the books. Lilooo i am living for you babeess <3 I did enjoy the characters. Sandra Brown has her own take on romance, and there are certain types who are fixtures in every novel. The bored trophy wife. The bad boy cop. The corrupt older man. The vicious crime lord from the slums. What I really enjoyed was how Elise blossoms in the course of the book, going from the rich man's plaything to a heroic avenger and winning the heart of Detective Duncan Hatcher. Elise say she's a big movie fan, and I loved how classic movies really shaped the story line. The plot was an amazing combination of LAURA with Gene Tierney (mysterious beauty disappears, hard-edged cop falls in love with her memory.) And there were elements of THE MALTESE FALCON ("my life is in danger -- I can't tell you why! Oh, but you're so brave and strong, you must help me!") And there were even a few moments that reminded me of THE BIG LEBOWSKI. ("Young trophy wife -- in the parlance of our times -- kidnaps herself because, hey, she's gotta feed the monkey!") Despite being an extensive book, it does not feel heavy at any time. The dialogues are well done: they were coherent, intelligent and, sometimes, funny. The narration of the daily life of the characters along with their obligations made them feel more real.

About the characters, I really love and I mean love it so much how it turned out for Lily in this book. How she unraveled, how she came into some sort of realization, how vulnerable she was, how in the end she became strong, how she really trying to accept and gave people chance. I love it so much and I think she evolved pretty good in this book, though this is still 2nd book and it's still to early for bigger picture but I still love her. She really turned out great. Loren turned out pretty okay too, I mean I didn't see him a lot in this book and I did feel he was getting better and I love that for him. Can I just simply say that I really love Lilo and how they turned out and really complete each other? I just couldn't wait for more of their story now that he got out from rehab.

raisy - walk in a jail cell ryke , yeah ? then never come out . better yet die doing something u love , climb a mountain then fall violently to the ground 🙌 Instalove:Yes! It came out of nowhere for me! It honestly made me think, “Whoa! Where’d that come from?” and was rather irritating.Tengo muy claro que en estas novelas es algo totalmente secundarios, que lo importante es esa trama y que la autora lo pone, como un aliciente más, pero sin ser el centro de la historia. Moore: There is a lot more to come on the dusty Texas horizon for Garrett Kohl. I recently finished the fourth book in the series, and now I’m outlining his next adventures for books five and six. So, it looks like there will be no rest for either of us anytime soon. The TikTok sensation Addicted Series continues with Hothouse Flower, now in a print edition with special bonus material! Elise asks Duncan for help and says her husband wants to kill her. When Duncan asks what her husband’s motive is, she won’t tell him. Therefore, he has no reason to believe or help her. Finally at about the 3/4 mark, she tells him “why.” Then Duncan helps her and the story becomes interesting. I would cut a lot of the first 2/3 or so of the book. There was too much hypothesizing, pondering, and wondering. I did enjoy the last part. I enjoyed what happened to the bad guys at the end. There was a happy ending with a little romance. But the first 2/3 or so made it not worth recommending. Point Of View (POV): This alternated between focusing (mainly on) Duncan, Elise, and other side characters in 3rd person narrative.

Ps: this wa smy first buddy read with lilyya and vio AND I LOVED IT. Can't wait to read the next book with you as weeell❤️🤭 I want to grow with him. I want to be with him. I want to love Lo without people telling me that our love is too much. One day, I hope we’ll get there. Hope, that’s all I have to go on right now. It’s my driving force.”

Overall Opinion: This wasn’t nearly as good as I had hoped. I liked the mystery aspect and how it took a while for everything to be revealed. I just didn’t like the romance. At all. It was major instalove that didn’t make any sense other than lust. It actually irritated me because it felt so out of nowhere and majorly undeveloped. I didn’t feel like we got into much depth with the characters and that might have also contributed to not feeling their connection to each other. Overall, It sadly was a disappointing read for me.
