The RRP ProGuard is an amazing front mudguard for mountain bikes offering unmatched protection from mud and spray, it’s perfect for Enduro or Downhill racers and essential for the weekend warrior looking for the very best protection. Our design intent was to increase the tyre clearance and improve the mud clogging issues seen with this type of mudguard. Like most of the formed guards, the Pro Guard has a three-point fixing via the brace and fork lowers. There are 24 crown holes for zip-ties allowing to accommodate a wide range of brace sizes and shapes (although not reverse arch) and it also gets a fork brace indent to increase tyre clearance. It’s compatible with 26, 27.5 and 29inch forks and RRP claims, tyres up to three inch in diameter. The Pro Guard also features seal protection, which simply means the side of the guard is a little bit wider and lower to stop dirt and crud contaminating the seal area, and ultimately ending up inside the lowers. We have tested the following chemicals to use on our ProGuards to keep them looking great and shedding mud: Slots and holes for easy installation with cable ties (included) or Velcro straps (sold separately)

You can also change the height of the mudguard by 6mm through the slots for more clearance. NOTE: Highest position offers the most stability with the best mud clearance

You should be able to locate the mudguard and let go as the rubber side pads should hold it in place (ensure the slots are centrally aligned to the threaded holes on your fork) Select the correct bolts for your fork (details below) and run these into the threads WITHOUT the mudguard which will 'PRIME' and clean the threads before fitting, this part is important (YOU MAY NEED TO RE-TAP THE THREADS IF DEBRIS / PAINT IS LEFT IN THE THREADS FROM THE MANUFACTURE OF THE FORKS) BOLTS: FOX = M3 (2 bolts) | OHLINS = M4 (3 bolts) | SR SUNTOUR = M6 ( *1 bolt) Side arms designed to fit conventional seatstays (that go to centre of wheel), and offset seatstays (raised up from centre of wheel) Finance is subject to application, financial circumstances and borrowing history.
