About this deal

To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us (Details here) of your decision to cancel the contract by a clear statement (eg a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Scheppach and Parkside has launched “competing” products) - I’d get the Bosch still, but wished they had parted with the wheel. The PBD 40 bench drill is especially accurate and very easy to use thanks to its technical features, with a 710 watt universal motor replacing the classical belt drive found in conventional bench drills. The Chuck is easy to use, lock and unlock but - my assessment of what happened - prolongued use, and thus Bit heat at high (max) revs, doing fairly tough demanding work, causes sufficient expansion of BOTH the Chuck and the Bit to 'fuse' to a minor extent - certainly enough to prevent easy, 'designed' release of the Bit once unlocked. I absolutely love it and wish I had spent the money years ago as it would have made my life much easier a long time ago. The drill is accurate enough for woodworking projects and has plenty of torque and rpm for any DIY enthusiast.

However in use, it works well, and as you can see from the attached video, on my drill the run out accuracy is around 0. You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay, and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from the contract to us. I haven't had a problem with insufficient torque so long as feed rate, drill speed are sharpness are appropriate for the work and one keeps in mind the limitations of a smaller light weight DP and adjusts accordingly. There is a reason that every other pillar drill has always had a 3 spoked handle, and that's because it works the best. The laser cross is pretty accurate, and accurate enough for quickly locating where to put the wood or center punched metal and then make fine adjustments to make sure the bit goes in the right place.I use a lot of countersunk head woodscrews in my projects and I can now cut an infinite number of countersinks of identical diameter by courtesy of the instantly usable digital depth reading. My only "complaint" would be that the wheel is not as efficient as a 4 handled star, in that if you are drilling deep you have to reposition to continue. It is compatible with the PBD 40 bench drill, PCM mitre saws, and the AdvancedTableCut 52 table saw, which can be attached directly with the universal tool holder included with this saw stand.
