Promising more in-egg play, the new HatchiBabies could be one of two new species – the Ponette (purple and teal egg) and Cheetree (pink and teal egg) – or one of the exclusive new characters. We’ve only had our Hatchimals Hatchibaby for a few days, but so far she has been a huge hit with both my girls. there’s something extra special about a baby Hatchimal and we love the addition of the accessories. Feeding and burping the Hatchimal is an especially lovely feature. Our Hatchibaby is definitely a wonderful addition to our collection. New Hatchibabies come with 5 accessories inside their egg for to help you care for your new baby Hatchimal. There’s also a small hidden scroll which tells you the gender of your baby Hatchimal. Note that, with the Hatchimals HatchiBaby in the egg, you can interact with it until you want it to hatch. The egg phase can last as long as you’d like; it won’t hatch without you there encouraging it and if the egg shows that it’s about to hatch (with rainbow flashing eyes and music) you can turn it upside for 25 seconds to put it to sleep. Spin Master originally targeted little girls but the Hatchimals playsets became popular among boys as well. We’ve been playing non-stop with our little Ponette HatchiBaby and have worked out how to activate most of the features. We had no idea what to expect and were happy when we hatched a very cute little furry purple Ponette with a yellow bow and a blue body/forehead.
The egg won’t hatch without you interacting with it and you can turn it off at any point by turning it upside down for 25 seconds, so don’t worry about it happening without you. We started and stopped the process several times. Purple eyes – hungry – feed with the bottle. Press the lower beak to feed, keep pressing the bottle to keep feeding – if you over feed your baby will get gassy This idea gave birth to the robotic creature that can hatch from an egg. Fifth Stage: The Kid – you can now play games with your Hatchimal; you can even teach it to sing and dance.
To start the process you just need to remove the plastic pins from the bottom of the egg and the Hatchibaby comes to life inside. The more you interact with the egg the faster it hatches. Ours started to break out much sooner than I thought, she was obviously eager to meet us. You don’t need to worry about Hatchibabies making noise through the night as after two minutes of no interaction, they will fall asleep until you interact with them again.
