The large, easy to read display makes programming easy and the unit is designed to eliminate the possibility of accidental changes toyour programme. Buttons normally visible, only affect your set programme temporarily. All buttons which can permanently change your programme are located behind the flip over facia. Gravity System (Gr) does not allow Central Heating without Hot Water but can provide Hot Water without Central Heating. You could use a two channel programmer and install two programmable room stats which will handle their own zones timings independently.

A three channel programmer, when wired to 3 valves like yours will probably have 5 connections linked to the junc. box via a 5 core cable. Two will be 240v live and neutral to run the programmer's electrics. Third will be a live feed that becomes live when the hw is on. Four and five are live feeds - one for each heating zone. These become live when the zone(s) are timed on for heating. A room thermostat controls the heating in your home. If the room's temperature drops below your chosen temperature, the thermostat will switch on. Once the room has reached the chosen temperature, the thermostat will turn the heating off, preventing overheating and reducing energy consumption. This can help reduce your home's energy consumption.
