The Sandcastle Event is a sandcastle building contest and the Stormy Weather Arts Festival features art exhibits, local food and beverage stalls, live performances, film screenings, cultural events, poetry reading, and more. I specifically like the part of the account where they express their disapproval of the Bandage Man for being so wasteful with toilet paper. Hopefully, this murderous phantom will take some time to reconsider his carbon footprint. As far as what created him, the most common origin is the sawmill accident but a few of the sources I found claim he was an electrician or firefighter. Either way, somehow the unnamed man became injured and was involved in an ambulance crash. But Did It Happen?

So, what are the chances that you’ll be torn to shreds by a blood-soaked mummy if you visit Cannon Beach? If you ask me, pretty low. And, as I mentioned near the beginning of this article, Cannon Beach is a beautiful area full of great people and natural beauty. But, still, if you do choose to visit, keep your head on a swivel when driving on Highway 101 at night. The Bandage Man might just be lurking. Regardless of how the Bandage man was maimed, he is now believed to roam the woods around Cannon Beach, haunting, terrorizing, and even murdering locals and tourists alike. Don’t Drive at Night

Of course, no fully reliable sources exist to prove that this ghoul exists, but at the end of the night, when you crawl into your tent alone and hear the snapping of twigs or footsteps nearby… you might just wonder if Bandage Man is on the prowl. Over the years, some drivers have reported a man covered in bandages jumping into their cars. Sweethearts in parking lots or overlooks report seeing The Bandage Man approaching their car. Others say that they've seen him on the beach and walking down the side of either Highway 101 or a short road known locally as "Bandage Man Road," which connects Cannon Beach.
