About this deal

This certainly is not only or just a rose fragrance; there is much more going on, and it is all very good! The way this fragrance exudes class and sophistication on a classic, refined and elegant level makes it worthy of consideration for any man looking to look and feel his best (with the right fragrance to match). my father had a bottle of this perfume and I still remember the air changed every time he sprayed it on him.

A900’s basenotes, which definitely include a healthy dose of patchouli (as in AE) are modulated by vetiver. Considering that Aramis 900 costs half as much compared to when it came out I can forgive that it is a skin scent after two hours and it performs a bit better than Aramis Devin, which has disappeared after two hours on my skin. i know that the most of u will disagree with me, and i respect that, but i have to say i dont like this fragrance at all. Most of all, this is very similar to Aromatics Elixir, albeit a lighter and more wearable version, although I personally adore AE!

I'd even argue that certain turned bottles may seem a bit more animalic because of whatever chemical degradation had done to the bases: it's just a theory.

It will be my favorite this week and I know it will project for 4 hours or so, and it will last till the evening. Men's Literary Fragrance Sample Set - Natural Cologne Samples: Mr Darcy, Heathcliff, Dorian Gray and Mr Rochester. But either the fragrance aged a bit a changed (which I think is really the case) or my sensitivity to patchouli changed. Projection ("silage") is moderate, though I didn't apply much, and longevity seems at least very good. I find it a rather ‘spare’ perfume if that makes any sense, in the Cabochard/Equipage vein, and I’m really enjoying it.

My Dad had this fragrance several years ago and when I saw the older vintage bottle of this in his cabinet, I had to try it out.

This one begins with musky salty soapy mix which makes it bit animalic and goes some type of dirty soap. I took the chance recently to do a wrist-to-wrist comparison of my vintage bottle (brown stripy glass with a gold lid) and the current version from the Gentlemen's Collection, and yes indeed I did find them to be slightly different from one another, especially in their openings.the spicy dry woody dustyness grounds this scent in the earth, and along with some fresh greenery ensures it's masculine. I kept tossing the bottle from one shelf to another, even threw it on roof, brought back in, finally gave it shelter with other bottles (didn’t want to dispose it) guess what, I am smelling it’s sprayer right now and it still smells loud and amazing! Certainly, there is a reason why this perfume has been considered important in the history of perfumery . With a bit more heat, the rose dissipates too quickly and the civet can become stronger than desired. Top notes are Coriander, Green Notes, Brazilian Rosewood, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Rose, Carnation, Geranium, Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine and Orris Root; base notes are Oakmoss, Civet, Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood and Amber.

Civet in the vintage, only in the first 30 minutes or so, is the very incarnation of hyperandrogenism, overwhelmingly dirty and carnal.Aside from that, I always have a concern about wearing Aromatics to work because of its loud nature.
