Since virtually all current loudspeakers are analog the amplifiers we use with them are required to deliver an analog output. I know the Dali are not considered “audiophile grade” however they perform pretty well in my room and are quite analytic on the mids and highs. The mid frequencies (voices) are a little bit recessed and the bass frequencies too lean for my taste. In addition, this housing has a nice appearance without compromising on performance or additions of cooling elements. Three days listening and subjectively I love this amp more that anything I already have Emotiva A-150, Aiyima A07, SMSL A300.Guess most people in here know what bass and treble settings look like in reality, as it is the case with these questionable DSP profiles.

I may have jumped the gun on thinking that my amps are beaten by this thing, as I got some very good sound from the Topping E70 into the 1Ls and Magnepan .They convert all analog inputs into digital "on the way in" and back into analog audio "on the way out". Of these, only the SE (single-ended) type and PSE (parallel single-ended) type are capable of high-level input through speaker output.
