The only downside I can think of is that the game's theme is really secondary to the gameplay/mechanisms.

They slightly seemed like filler tracks, but given there's 50 tracks in all, a couple of less familiar songs is to be expected. The schedules are so different to when the last CD was released, if you have a current CBeebies addict, it's well worth the cash to keep them entertained. This item has made car journeys with my toddler much more enjoyable, as she recognises the theme tunes and sings along happily. I went away for a few days recently, being a normal person (OK, one with a bit of a nail polish habit), rather than a mummy. Every time little man hears music being played he looks like he is auditioning for Strictly Come Dancing, as he gets all excited and starts strutting his stuff as he dances to the music.This DVD is the best DVD ever you could purchase for your children for home and long journeys in the car. He soon overcame his confusion why the shows were not on the TV and happily pranced and danced around the room the songs on the album. Be good if they had an updated one or at least advertised the year the shows are from to make it easier. One disadvantage to allowing your little ones to watch CBeebies is that you will find yourself suddenly in the shower, or driving the car, and humming along to one of the songs that you've heard in there. I'm a childminder and its even a hit with the children I look after to put on in the play room when they are playing, or to play musical instruments along to it.
