Everything about it – its design, ergonomics, performance, housing, and even blade shape – will make you fall in love with it at first sight. Although being lightweight is a PRO, it can also be a CON. If you are used to using a heavier, wider clipper they can feel a little strange until you get used to them. I used the Wahl Sterling Mag for five years. It has the perfect size, weight, shape, and look. And it is cordless. It is super quiet, the battery lasts long enough, and it doesn't take long for the battery to recharge. And it doesn't really get hot. I just have two complaints. The motor isn't that strong so haircuts take some time. And sometimes my hair gets caught between the blades. I used to take the blades apart each time that it happened, but it was too often. And then I learned that if I just continue cutting my hair for 1-3 seconds, the new hair it is cutting will dislodge the hair already caught between the blades and everything would be okay again. If there was no other cordless clippers of similar size, weight, shape, and look that worked as good or better, I would give the Wahl Sterling Mag 5 stars. But since I just found better clippers, I will give it 3 stars now. Another reason is that it is more lightweight. When you’re working with your hands, it’s important to keep your tools as lightweight as possible to avoid hand cramping .
