About this deal

But never give a new or established plant too much rooting hormone or it can damage the root system. If we find that the item is damaged or unsuitable for resale we reserve the right to take steps to recover costs of any damage caused. Some plants, however, are more of a challenge and so will not be as easy to propagate without using one at all. It's best to use powders and gels as it's possible to damage the cuttings if you accidentally use too much of the rooting liquid. Use on a variety of both indoor and outdoor cuttings, including new growth, brittle stems, woody stems, grafting, young plants, corms and bulbs.

While many plants root freely on their own (see below), using a root hormone makes the task of propagating 'difficult' plants much easier. The root will develop quicker and will be of better quality than when rooting hormones are not used.

Pour the powder or gel into a sterile container and then simply dip the base of your cutting into it, and tap or shake the cutting to remove any excess (if the powder won't stick then dip the cutting in water, first). To make willow water, simply gather around 2 cups of fresh willow growth chopped up into short lengths. We will be serving our new full menu very soon which will have some new additions as well as our classic favourites. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. Willow is good for rooting cuttings because it contains high concentrations of Indolebutyric acid (IBA), and also salicylic acid, from which aspirin is derived and which protects against fungi and other pathogens.

But with so many products available, it can be hard to keep track of what products are a real plant necessity and which ones aren't.

Apply the rooting powder to the area of the leaf closest to the center of the plant, depending on its structure.
