About this deal

So overall, on the performance side, the Arctic P12's are an excellent choice for anybody that does not want any unnecessary RGB features in their build. During the development of the P12 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. For these fans, the critical point is the level of the blades, or rather the tonal spikes, which arise based on the nature of their undulations (and catching resonant frequencies).

The P12 has larger blades compared to the BioniX P120, although it doesn’t seem like it unless one sees those fans side by side.Interesting, I could not notice that the A-RGB and regular version of the P120 has different rotor shapes. Even though we were perplexed that they did not manage to repeat their results, they performed excellently with 83°C on the CPU. In this way, noise is kept at a minimum while maximum cooling performance is guaranteed when needed. In non-restrictive environments at low speeds, DeepCool, which has the advantage of a larger outer cross-section of the rotor or rather larger blades, plays a more equal game. With a wide speed range and the innovative PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the fan speed of the P12 PWM PST A-RGB can be controlled synchronously with all other fans.

So with the same size hub, the gaps between the blades are naturally smaller on the P12, so there is less room for airflow leakage and higher static pressure is achieved. In this way, less heat develops, less bearing noise is generated and the service life of the fan is extended. Sometimes you will get significantly less improvement than you would expect, other times you may even be worse off. In scenarios with high-pressure resistances and higher speeds, the force effect is distributed uniformly over the entire fan wheel and enables low-vibration rotation while maintaining high static pressure.but for the sake of a standard case fan, you simply screw in with the four screws provided making sure it faces in the direction you want the air to flow. So on the face of it, the rotor looks the same, as long as the illustrations on Arctic’s current web site are consistent with it. And these, when they hit the resonant frequencies in an exemplary way, the result is that at the same, let’s say, average noise level, the P12 can indeed be a noisy fan both in the low-frequency (up to 200 Hz) range of sound and between 300–450 Hz. Numerous improvements, such as updated engine technology and a newly developed fan design, have noticeably increased the performance of P-fans.

Probably also because this acoustic deficiency is really pronounced here and has pushed the manufacturer to make design changes in newer models that are aimed at suppressing critical tonal peaks. Or if you can hear some sound in the frequency band we are talking about, you should also hear it with Silent Wings 3.Besides a wide range of CPU and GPU coolers, ARCTIC offers high-quality monitor mounts as well as an audio product line. The signal quality of the motherboard/hub should not make a difference in noise, it is determined by the NE-FD1 IC inside the fan.

The operating noise of the newly-developed ARCTIC motor is barely perceptible, even at the lowest speed. A nice example of this is the Cooler Master SickleFlow ARGB fan ( spectrogram) or even the older SilentiumPC Sigma Pro 120 PWM fan ( spectrogram). I appreciate the true honesty toward this fan unlike youtubers or other reviewers that praise this fan without mentioning the terrible whine it does at too many rpms. A leading manufacturer of silent PC coolers and components, it initiated and sustainably influenced the trend towards quiet cooling systems.Stand out point: If I had to narrow it down to one thing, I would say the fact they gave us a generous amount of cable and the connectors on it will allow you to Daisy Chain. The P12 Series is pressure optimized, meaning that the Air that the P12 Fan is pushing has a higher pressure, resulting in a better passthrough if the direction it blows is restricted, like by a Radiator or Filter.
