About this deal

I've been the opposite, none of the Magni in WFC have ended up in my hands, none of them have done things I want them to, and the Galaxy Prime was the only version of the mold I've gotten. The alt mode definitely feels like a bit more of an afterthought here, coming together nicely with an interesting transformation but ultimately a little lacklustre when it comes to execution (it really is hard to forgive those visible arms on the track cab).

The Siege base molde needed more engineering changes for the trailer for Kingdom (frankly, I expected them do have the red part on bottom). It's probably right for the character, but does underscore that Magnus is an also-ran as Autobot leadership contenders go. As a key player in Transformers: The Movie, any Studio Series 86 display is also going to need an Ultra Magnus so as far as that goes this is definitely your best bet. And I don’t get the impression that you’d be missing a whole lot if you decided to pass on the Kingdom version.Accessories: Classic G1-inspired blaster accessory, truck trailer can also be broken apart to armor up figure, Gold Disk card. This figure has been partially remolded and deco’d to best reflect his G1 look, and with no battle damage!

Due to the remoulds made to length the alt mode and make it more G1 accurate, the trailer and cab sections are not able to swivel independently from each other. However, in this case, i find it weird that they just put regular, round pupil on the dino eyes, not the elongated pupil that should be closer to actual raptor. That’s why I prefer the Siege versions of Magnus, Ironhide/Ratchet, Megatron, Soundwave and the Datsuns, they aren’t trying to pass themselves off as earth vehicles, so things like greebles and battle damage don’t bother me. It just feels a bit odd to have the design goes for realistic approach everywhere on the body, except the eyes. The gun is moulded in red plastic and then painted a nice gunmetal grey, however the peg remains unpainted to avoid any paint rub occurring both on the accessory and those pristine white fists.

That said, it isn't exactly the most impressive looking truck cab in the world as there's no attempt whatsoever to hide the arms – in fact they're still really visible even with the trailer connected. GOLDEN DISK CARDS REVEAL POSSIBLE DESTINIES: Includes a Golden Disk card that reveals a possible destiny of a key character.

Here's some scale comparisons with Kingdom Cyclonus, Earthrise Optimus Prime, SS86 Hot Rod, Earthrise Arcee, and Netflix Bumblebee. Alterations include a completely redesigned cab front in alt mode, modified Magnus armour, an altered chest section in robot mode and a new face sculpt giving Magnus those more familiar goggle-style eyes (complete with light piping! It also results in the feet not being able to be straightened when in altform giving the back of the trailer a weird appearance.

Extra props for the moulded spots for an Autobot sigil and then not even bothering to sticker or tampograph them.

Since 2016 we have traded in Ghost and other band merchandise from all the top rock and metal bands. As a bonus that whole skull plate is removable, though it doesn't split like in the art, but I can't tell if there's a way to plug it into the shoulder like that, maybe you can wedge the little piece on the inside between his toes? Open the box up and you'll find the toy securely fixed to a cardboard tray by more plastic ties than I'd care to count. I was thinking about getting the Kingdom Magnus for an 86 shelf because it’s probably the closest we’re gonna see in the CHUG world. My copy of Ultra Magnus came with a card of the Ark, the spaceship in which the Autobots travelled across the cosmos (and thanks to the recent Titan class release, we can consider an actual character as well). But on top of being one of the beefiest members in the 1986 Autobot crew, Kingdom Ultra Magnus has all that modern Transformers line articulation to boast about as well. Even if this was possible, from both Earthrise Primes I have(mainline and Netflix), the joints aren’t tight enough to hold up the extra weight from Ultra Magnus’ armor, especially the knees.
