About this deal

In fact, it's probably the one bit of Lego that I get all OCD over, it bothers me when the hands aren't 'right', even when I can't think of a reason for it. If you keep your wrist straight, what you held would be perpendicular to your forearm, which is how minifigures hold items. In addition, it's neat to see how the joints in a real hand work through a Lego interpretation of one. Special hands, such as pirate hooks in several different colours and boxing gloves have also been made.

I've just given it a try with a minifig holding a goblet, and there's definitely a difference in how "active" the goblet is.Build the Robot Hand and investigate what pressure is needed to hold different objects without dropping or crushing them. It is used to hold weapons (such as the Part x1740), objects and tools (such as a cup) or LEGO bricks. They have been made with a variety of colours and have come with every minifigure from 1978 until 1989, and are still in usage from 1989 to the present time. Yeah, there maybe a few missed ones, but I'm pretty sure the numbers (of MF in that hand orientation on official lego images) don't lie. The palm is just solid and flat, unlike a real hand, but I don't think that detracts from the articulation at all, because of the range of movement in the fingers and thumb. It seems that having the large side up when they are holding a tool means that tool is 'active', but when the hands are upside down the tool becomes 'passive'. This hand is modelled from the structure of a human hand, the palm being the highlight of this work. Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Only when you bend your wrist down (so that your forearm makes a straight line, more or less, with your thumb) does the bottom part become larger. It follows the anatomy of the human palm and is able to perfectly replicate the posture of the palm in action. The last few years have seen massive jumps in terms of minifig detail, first dual molded arms and legs, now side and toe printing on legs, (the new Sam Wilson cap looks amazing and is what got me thinking about this) and all that’s really left to improve is the hands, either dual molded or printed, or both.
