When beginning your search, the most important aspect to consider is how long you will be hiking, whether you plan to spend the night in the wilderness and, if so, how many nights you will be sleeping outdoors and whether you might be carrying an adventure tent or bivvy bag. Given the plethora of additional gear needed on a longer journey, such as sleeping bags, gas stoves, and food; making sure you have enough space will help to avoid any last minute headaches or tough decisions on what to leave behind. Hiking pole attachments are included. One of the most important features is the included raincover, which is an optional accessory for some other manufacturers, and ensures you stay dry when inclement weather inevitably occurs. Sized at 30 litres, the Airzone Trail can accommodate many hiking scenarios. Side tension straps are linked to the hipbelt. By tightening these straps you can stabilise the load but reduce the hipbelt flexibility. Where balance is critical tightening them can help you feel more secure. However, if you are striding out over easy terrain it’s better to loosen these straps to allow full hip flexibility. When you fasten your hip belt, the pads should sit on your hips – the belt should be snug enough for the belt to hold the weight It includes a detachable and integrated rain cover and zippered sleeping bag compartment with floating divider and removable sleeping bag straps, to keep everything organized.
