About this deal

Asa’s need to control Sloan and keep her near him intensifies. He proposes to her and promises to get the two of them out of the house and into their own place. He buys her a gaudy engagement ring she would have never chosen, and when she doesn’t wear it one single time, Asa physically superglues the ring onto her finger. The lengths to which he will go to keep Sloan by his side are downright frightening.

Too Late was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay darker than I thought it was possible for Hoover to go. I mean, have you seen her? She’s farking adorable.

The main character Sloan was somewhat annoying for me, which kept the book from getting all the stars. She is trying to take care of a special needs brother, going to college and putting up with a butt-holey boyfriend who is a nut job.

Too Late by Colleen Hoover is the story of Sloan, a college student in a two-year codependent and abusive relationship with her boyfriend Asa, a drug dealer. Luke sends Sloan up to bed with Asa against his better judgment, but he knows he has no other choice without blowing his cover to the rest of the people in the house. Now, so was this one, and while her other books had riveting plot twists and storylines that drove the story forward for readers keeping them on the edge of their seats, the romance is what many of Hoover’s readers feel attracted to in her books. I wish my mother wasn’t a whore. I wish she would stop lying, so she wouldn’t get in trouble so much. I don’t like watching her get in trouble.Ryan, Luke’s partner (previously Dawson for most of the book), shows up at Sloan’s and Luke’s apartment, and when Luke opens the door, Ryan explains that Asa made him come to the apartment. Asa appears and Luke shoots his gun out of his hand. Ryan then shoots each of his legs. He is taken away by cops, and Sloan, Luke, and Ryan are all relieved that these new charges will finally bring him to trial and give him what he deserves. I guess that’s the difference between being loved the right way and the wrong way. You either feel tethered to an anchor….or you feel like you’re flying.

I don't even know who lives here half the time. Asa owns the house, but he loves being around people, so he likes the revolving door, free-for-all. If I had the means, I'd have my own place in a heartbeat. But I don't. That just means one more year of pure hell before I graduate. The two are drawn to each other, even when they try to resist, and as secrets are revealed, their bond is intensified. Change in both of them is paramount and both characters hope to heal their emotional scars and live with less boundaries in their young lives. In the companion book Losing Hope, Colleen take the story further, but this time from the perspective of Dean, the troubled youth with secrets to reveal. The story is about Sloan, a girl that is apparently very strong and unyielding, however, in my opinion, she comes across as a whiny doormat. Sloan lives with Asa in his house which is a revolving door of sex, drugs, and debauchery. She never has a quiet moment to herself and finds it difficult to concentrate or study — especially when she’s awoken by Asa having sex with her while she is half asleep in the wee hours of the morning.Too Late: A Novel” is one the best and most entertaining novels with a very unique and impressive story. Colleen Hoover is the author of this fantastic novel. Colleen is the author of many beautiful novels. Her most famous novels are Slammed, It Ends with Us, Verity, Ugly Love, November 9, Finding Cinderella, This Girl, Point of Retreat, Losing Hope and many fantastic novels. This novel is also a wise, deep, moving epic by an exceptional writer. The author brings her game A and gives us a mind-blowing story. These characters are unique and refreshing. There are fabulous stand-alone set pieces, engaging characters, glorious prose and a soul-stirring look into the various lives of human. As all good writers realize, she writes what she knows – family, friendship, change, and especially love. Her plots and characters have immense appeal among young women readers, and she sets her characters in modern day situations of friendship, new relationships, first love, and heartbreak. Slammed Luke is slightly disappointed that the work he and Dawson have done is for nothing, and the FBI seems to have busted Asa before their investigation concluded. so there you have it. how am i supposed to positively rate a book that i really quite enjoyed but dont want to be too generous because there is one major flaw that my conscience wont allow me to overlook? its so much better than 3 stars (its at least a 4), but i personally feel way too guilty with giving anything over that. ughhh.

As an independent American author from Texas, Colleen Hoover came to writing as a hobby, but still something she felt compelled to do. Like most modern working women, she balances her work, her marriage, her two young sons and still finds joy in writing and promoting her own creations. I think the only option I really have left is to shoot Luke in his goddamn smug face and get Sloan out of here while I still can. Sure, she’s going to be a little traumatized. But we could go to therapy or something whenever we get settled again. She’s going to need it after being brainwashed like she was.

There's no way I can keep this up. Asa never goes to class on a regular basis, yet he always passes with near perfect grades. I'm struggling to keep my head above water, and I didn't miss a single day last semester. Well, in physical form, anyway. Unfortunately we live with so many other people, there's never a quiet moment in the house. I catch myself falling asleep in class more often than not; it's the only time I get peace and quiet. The parties seem to go on all hours of the day and night, regardless of who has class the next day. Weekends have no bearings over weekdays in our house, and rent has no bearing over who lives here. You mean good morning," I say, as I reluctantly pull myself out of bed. My t-shirt is bunched around my waist, so I pull it down and grab some pants and a different shirt. I walk across the hallway to the shower, relieved that one of our countless roommates isn't occupying the only upstairs bathroom. This full summary and review of Too Lateby Colleen Hoover was prepared by my freelance writer, a Colleen Hoover super fan whose been devouring her catalog alongside me, and it was edited by another super fan –me! You’re one of the strongest people I’ve ever met,” I whisper. “You are everything Asa doesn’t deserve. And everything I want.” Spice Level: We don’t feel we can appropriately rate the spice level of this book, given the sexual assault content.
