Society and Satire: artists and early Methodism - Bishop Street Methodist Church, Leicester - Leicester

Drawing on current research, it considers John Russell’s scientific works and portraits, the Methodist sympathies of Gainsborough and the recently re-discovered Pre-Raphaelite, James Smeetham.
