The timeless aroma here would work if it was released 30 years ago, and will work anywhere in the next 30 years as well. With that said, which is the best current version of CDNIM to get, the EDP, the limited, or the parfum?If we’re talking about the sillage of Club de Nuit Intense Man, I’d say it’s one of the best ones out there, and it leaves a good 6+ feet trail behind you even after 6 or 7 hours. After 4-5 hours it disappeared completely from my wrist and I am not at all satisfied with it, thought it would be 5 times better in terms of longevity and silage. Whereas sauvage tends to give people headaches and have a sort of bland musky citrus sillage, CDNIM is more smokey and fruity. Drydown point– Drydown of Aventus is a lot smokier, it goes down to that smokey feel and it’s really unique while on the other hand, CDNIM drydown leads to birch and musk. So, no matter which perfumes you use from Sterling, always wipe the excess liquid which a clean cloth left after spraying the perfume to postpone the bottle deterioration as long as possible.

If you want a variation of Aventus, go with Cedrat Boise, but if you want a shockingly similar scent, go with CDNIM. If it's super hot outside I spray on Eau Givree, if it's cold I spray on Most Wanted Parfum or maybe Code Absolu if I must leave the house, and when the weather is nice I spray on CDNIM EDP. While I know that BU founder Paul Anthony is very fond of Aventus and has consumed several bottles, I’m perfectly satisfied with CDNIM as a more frugal option.
