About this deal

A lot of the issues I had with book one were fixed up a bit in this one. The pacing is better, there's more of the plot that was promised, the sex-to-plot ratio is a lot better. There may be the same number of sex scenes in this book but I thought they were placed in the story much more naturally. Ayla was raised in the foster care system and was raped by her foster father at the age of 15. This isn't really discussed in detail, but we know she tried to take her own life after that. Also, she may or may not have a younger brother. Ayla was 17 when she lost part of her right arm when she jumps in front of bullets meant for a stranger (at the time) named Marcus.

i have read some stalker's plot books and i can say this one here is one of the best about this especific topic. usually the author introduces the stalking part and then the characters meet and everybody forgets the whole point of the plot.

o romance foi completamente deixado de lado para focar na parte do jogo/ da guerra que eu comentei na primeira review (aquela parte de jogos vorazes). agora a ayla faz parte da guerra, porque saiu querendo matar o povo lá. ô mulher burra. The guys stayed their dominating selves, however I did love seeing them open up more to Ayla and confessing their feelings to her. Ayla became even MORE of a badass and watching her character progress throughout this series, especially with her disability, was beautiful. I was wanting to know why Marcus and Co wanted to stalk Ayla and the only reason we got for the whole time is that he wanted to know her, and her heart and what goes on in her mind... and I'm like you couldn't have seen her when she was in the hospital or something 2 years earlier???!!!!!!!!

sweet obsession is the first book on a reverse harem trilogy that talks about a woman, ayla, who is shot trying to save some strange’s life. this strange? marcus, her new stalker. Still, she also believes in the importance of having tribes who can help you on the journey. In her case, she found a lot of support from her writer friends who built her up when she was being torn down by vicious critics of her work.

At first I was like is this another Fifty Shades of Grey, where there is an alpha male who is rich and will stalk his "obsession"? And ummm yes it was kinda like that. I think that the fact that Marcus (the beautiful earth and air eyed man) literally stalks the crap out of our main character with his two friends Theo (the goofy not serious one) and Ryland (broad silent type). This was full of sexual tension, sexy times, and the personality of the three different men spark in this one. But oh wait apparently all the guys are ok with them all being in love with her and she ends up loving all of them at the same time. i liked! marcus was the main character here and we didn't have any groupal scene (i was expecting, i confess).......... i can say marcus is hot. that's it.

Callie Rose’s novel “The Lie” is an enjoyable novel that follows on from the events of the first novel of the “Kings of Linwood Academy” series of novels. As usual, I’m obsessed with the guys Callie writes. She’s a go to author for me when it comes to RH because I know I’ll fall in love with her characters. Nothing like a little obsession to put some pep in a girls step (when it’s wanted of course). Then again it’s really the least she deserves after putting her life on the line for a handsome stranger. While struggling to get by heroine Ayla realizes that day two years ago still haunts her in the form of three dangerous men who just keep turning up. Ayla is very very brave though I would argue at times she’s a bit dumb too. She doesn’t think everything through but I think a lot of that has to do with her being unaware until the end what kind of world she’s now been dragged into. The Help” by Callie Rose is a thrilling high school drama that is infused with a bit of mystery to make for an explosive story. At the opening of the story, Harlow’s mother just got employed as an executive housekeeper necessitating the move to Connecticut from Arizona.

Ahhh! Just what I needed! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to read Callie Rose and I’m glad I didn’t miss this one! Once she graduated from college, she became more serious with her writing even though it would take several years before she decided to take a stab at publishing. She is now glad that she took the plunge since becoming an author changed her life as it has become more than a hobby. But then they are all brought close together when they witness a tragic event together. They now have to work together to uncover a bizarre mystery even as they protect themselves. Ayla is with Marcus all of book one and kissed Theo to make him jealous and leave her alone. Didn’t work out but she ended up liking kissing Theo and Theo liked it too.She always has so many stories swirling in her head and she has said that it feels incredible sharing those stories with others. However, unlike many authors, she never did have that one light bulb moment when she decided to become an author.
