About this deal

Cubic Ninja is a game for Nintendo 3DS perhaps best known for being the first 3DS that does not have the stereoscopic 3D feature, though it was later revealed that the game would only not be in 3D when motion control was in use. To get homebrew working on North American or European hardware, you need to track down an actual retail copy of the game card.

Even if other exploits are eventually found and developed for the 3DS, at least Cubic Ninja has already been rescued from a lifetime of ignominy to become a footnote in the history of the 3DS. In a final bit of irony, the game's original developers at AQ Interactive won't even be able to really enjoy the game's sudden unexpected surge in popularity; the Japanese company was absorbed into Harvest Moon maker Marvelous Entertainment shortly after Cubic Ninja's release in 2011.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The layering on the screen and the motion controls have obviously tried to be incorporated to the 3DS' Style, but unfortunately the motion control's become increasingly difficult to use and make the game extremely difficult, and also make viewing the 3D Slightly annoying, as although I can see it, many other's would not as being 13 I would have far better eyesight than somebody of 40 years of age. Simply tilt and turn your Nintendo 3DS to solve challenging puzzles, outwit devious enemies, and escape intricate traps. Console hacking fans may remember that the Wii had a similar homebrew hack that required a copy of launch title The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The gyro controls aren't really that good but some of the levels are cool, with plenty of references to other stuff as well.

Cubic Ninja could have been an amazingly addictive game, but some faulty controls and a lack of content hold it back. The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of Condé Nast. If you have to tumble till you're dizzy, or survive raging waters just to rescue the princess, then you will. The focus on gyroscope controls limits the game's level design and makes it awkward and boring for players who use the Circle Pad. To find the exploit through an obscure game, make use of it, and install a whole new Homebrew channel with nothing more than a debugger and a few extra tools? While Ninjhax was originally to be released on August 30, 2014, Rabet held off its release due to the unveiling of the New Nintendo 3DS, believing that any release before then would give Nintendo time to address the exploit on the new revision. Cubic Ninja also features survival and time trial modes, along with a level editor; levels can be shared with others via QR codes. The game gets its title from its unique look and the 3-D cubes that make up the game's world and characters. It's a fun little game, but whilst the game has obviously been attempted to be designed for the 3DS, unfortunately it simply dosen't work.
