Though the end of the game wasn’t huge, I got a kick out of Pip and her defeat and how she handled it. Each of them have roles and each of them have dressed accordingly (though I had a bit of a laugh how the characters who were older were described, I mean Cara just drew some wrinkles on her face that didn’t match at all). I had to subtract two stars because the plot seemed almost identical to that of the film Knives Out.

As Good As Dead is a phenomenal YA mystery that deserves to be one of the books of the year and provides a stellar finale to a knockout series. Not only is it a quick, fun read, I also definitely walked away with a better understanding of Pip's inspiration for her Capstone Project, the impetus for all the action in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. There is a lot to really enjoy in this story and there is great energy to the writing, as well as some fine characterization' - Peter James, award-winning and no. It was so much fun to read an epilogue to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and spend some quality Agatha Christie-sque meets Clue style murder mystery time with our longtime brainy detective friend Pip!I was a little sad that the series was over, so I'm glad to have this bonus story so I could experience just a bit more of what I loved. It all takes place at a murder mystery party which was a really fun setting and it was fun trying to figure out who the killer is.

Jackson teases the audience or really imparts metalepsis, you have to read this book as I can’t mention more about it as it will be a spoiler and hinder your reading experience.
