The only issue I have is the updated design went to a zip pocket on the front, instead of the big buckled pocket.

The buckled design was better because it gave you extra space for carrying larger items (like a drill or impact). Just as Klein offers a variety of tools, job-matched for every kind of work, Klein offers a variety of tool bags for every day carrying. The padded carry handle wraps around heavy-duty aircraft cable, and the bag includes robust zippers with lockable pulls. The backpacks feature 1680d ballistic weave material with orange interiors for easy tool visibility. He does rough-in and trim-out electrical work exclusively, so he requires a large tool bag for all the tools he needs at his disposal.Ladies - THiS is the gift you want to get for your guy to prove that you “get” him (and to get back at him for rolling his eyes every time you wander off into a purse or shoe discussion with your friends). The Klein Tool Master Backpack, by virtue of its design, has some obvious benefits, as you might imagine. For this review, we put the backpack in the hands of Pete Disher, one of their crew that focuses mainly on commercial jobs. The weight of the tools I’m carrying gets evenly distributed across my back, rather than focusing that weight on my arms or across one shoulder. The removable tool caddy includes a D-ring so that I can hang it up next to where I work or on a tool belt to keep it in easier reach. I suppose that if a tool is shorter than the pocket, these elastic straps might prevent the tool from sinking down below the edge of the pocket.Klein does have some options that still present a durable, space-saving design that won’t break the bank. The outside has a large, adjustable pocket that I find works well for carrying a couple of my cordless drills.

I like that it completely zips open and the front lays down out of the way, the orange interior is a nice orange color. You want one that's durable, roomy, and easy to carry but accessible once you get to work and open it up.
