In " The Gilded Path," Lloyd encountered his father once more and was nearly killed by the Colossus. However, Lloyd pleaded to his father at not doing so and Garmadon relented, marking the first time he had shown hesitance after his revival. This reluctance allowed Lloyd to escape his grasp and stare at his father in confusion as to why he spared him. Participants also described Summer’s personality as outgoing: ‘bubbly... the warm, friendly person’ (P23). These external characteristics, however, were often portrayed in conflict with Summer’s internal world, which frequently positioned Summer as experiencing shame and guilt. The story arcs described a point of intervention at which Summer’s self-harm was either discovered or where she sought support, and the stories detailed her process of recovery and the treatment she received, if any.

The story completion methodology used in this research is both novel and insightful in its attempt to move past social desirability bias and access wider and often implicit social perceptions of self-harm. However, the methodology may only represent perceptions of self-harm and mental illness among Christian populations and not direct experiences. Whilst this is important, findings should be conceptualised as offering an additional layer of understanding to current and further research in this area. Data were collected using story completion (SC) – an innovative qualitative method for exploring participants’ socially located assumptions about a given topic (Braun et al., 2019). In this study, the topic of mental illness and, specifically, self-harm was explored using SC among an evangelical Christian population in the UK. We aimed to explore how evangelical Christians perceive and make sense of self-harm and mental illness more broadly. Kai: "Woah, woah, woah hold it. In " Firstbourne," Lloyd was still sad at losing his uncle and was unable to focus on his training. However, he learned that he had been instead teleported to somewhere after he and the others found a piece of a leaf for Traveler's Tea. During " Iron & Stone," Lloyd was informed that his uncle was sent to the Realm of Oni and Dragons.

Ronin was a thief and was not a friend of the ninja, but he sided with them starting from the end of episode 51. The season reveals Kai has a fear of water (but he does not in Season 2), Jay has a fear of attics, Zane has a fear of Morro, and Cole has a fear of becoming a ghost (which he later on succumbs to).During " Once and for All," they were confronted by Vex and his soldiers. Grimfax put his faith in Lloyd by telling him to split from the group and get through to Zane. After he realized she is the Quiet One, he felt betrayed as she played on his emotions by deriding him for not being a proper savior, as well as telling him that his uncle was the infant the ninja have. Harumi fought Lloyd and stated in the fight that she wanted to resurrect Lloyd's father so she could watch Garmadon destroy him. Not much is known about the relationship between Gene and Lloyd except they were classmates at Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys.

During Season 8: Sons of Garmadon, Lloyd learned that a criminal organization intended to resurrect his father but as his villainous self. This caused him to feel conflicted over seeing his father again but dealing with a threat to everyone.Akita and Lloyd were about to part ways and the latter tries to come up with the best way to say goodbye. However, she seizes the moment to kiss him on his cheek, which left him surprised. She then bade him goodbye. Before leaving, he told her to take care and she told him the same. In Season 8: Sons of Garmadon, she was still a good friend to him and even offered him advice on approaching Harumi after the others gave bad advice. When he was defeated by his resurrected father Lord Garmadon, Nya gave him some of her power for him to recover after his fight with his resurrected father. She was also the only ninja who had stayed with him while the others had gone after Colossus.
