FTM 2019 can create competent fan charts without garbled ancestors in PDF format at any size you specify (within the limits of Windows 7), but I don’t think they’re very pretty. Thanks for all the help you’ve given people in this thread. I am not a genealogy person, but my dad has invested a great amount of time entering our history into FTM and is a big fan. As he gets on it’s becoming increasingly apparent that there is not likely to be a successor to his effort though, and since no-one will be browsing his digital data on a computer I was wondering how people dump all of their FTM data to print? All three of the programs covered here import some other programs’ file formats directly, so you may be able to avoid using a GEDCOM transfer.
