About this deal

The key point besides it’s a licence-free, you can also set it as a 2W radio, after you hold a licence. you can set it to “high power” in programming software.

I can connect to my radios using (old) version 1.00 of the RT22 software (I have it on a friends computer but not de installer so I can install on mine) Spec Code enabled + Compander enabled = Selective Calling on Retevis (not sure about different Retevis models) and radios of other brands should not be able to communicate with RT24.Then, in RT5R software, writing same “RX frequency”, “TX frequency” CTC/DCS DEC and CTC/DCS ENC, as RT24 Carrier:Walke talkie will stop when you scanned a signal, you can talk into this signal, untill this signal is missing(nobody is transmitting), it will automatically scan the next signal (carrier scan mode is mostly commonly choosed) Please tell me if the RB-18 frequencies can be re-programmed. It’s a nice looking FRS. I have several of them. I really wanted to program it to be a really cool looking amateur radio transceiver.

Retevis RT24 is a new arrival PMR446 analog radio, because it’s licence-free and elegent design, it’s very popular among European and British users. Do you know how to programme Retevis RT24 to communicate with others radios? Today, let’s take RT24 and Retevis RT 5R as an example, to discuss together the programming in software step by step. First, let’s programme in RT24 software. I’m not sure why the standard FRS and GMRS frequencies that were present in the radio were matched with strange, random tones.thanks for replay. I did read guide book. It doesn’t work. Above is written “5.Key point: Switch RT24 to channel 16, turn on the radio” But I asked for RT24V it has only 6 channels. Switch RT24 to channel 16 is not possible. I tried channels 1 to 6 but it doesn’t work. On the channel 1 the radio says “vox of”. That’s all. Please take a RT24V and try it. Spec Code is not the same as “DTMF selective calling” found in other analog radios. For DTMF selective calling, your radio will remain silent when there is transmission (with different DTMF code). For Spec Code selective calling, your radio will sound like short pulses of interference.
