About this deal

Let’s start with the Moonclan Boss, the only Leader from this set. He is similar to a Loonboss with 1″ weapon, less wounds and no special ability.

Rippa and his boys are an unusual warband with 8″ movement and all mounted, meaning they can’t pass through archways and doors, or climb. Mork’s Mighty Mushroom: Another I haven’t tried. It seems so bad on paper I didn’t even bother. An Endless Spell that has a random range and stays in place doesn’t seem like much use to me. Age of Sigmar is usually a pretty dynamic game so I doubt anyone would hang out near it for long. And while there are certainly static gunlines out there I don’t want to shell out 80 points for a spell that is only really great against those types of armies. Plus those same types are usually magic heavy and will probably just unbind it anyway. Loonshrine

Artillery

Scuttletide: Seems good. I only painted it to go with a Spider Grot list I hope to make someday but I could see it being useful for any Gitz. That plus the Cowl should help him survive to turn two and hopefully let him dish out some pain. For your Squig Herd, it is ok if some flee as there is a chance to dish out mortal wounds as they run. Use them to tie up a more expensive unit of your opponents or to control a highly contested objective. Beyond that, just hope the Squig dice go your way and hopefully you can get these glass cannons into combat. This makes your army legal in a 1000 point game but you’re not going to do much with a single unit of 5 Squig Hoppers, so lets add 5 more to each unit. Then you will want to fill out some more of the leader areas to add some buffing to your troops. So, your new army will look something like this. Summon Stalagsquig(Double, Mollog):set up Stalagsquig (once per battle) nearby but not engaged to any enemy. The first opponent to pass near Stalagsquig gets damaged.

Rabble Rowsa: Not really bad just not so useful with a Jaws of Mork army. His most important ability is Get Goin’ you Gitz, which allows monsters to run and charge. It just isn’t that useful with Mangler Squigs which can often do that anyway if the Bad Moon is willing. Take this guy with Gargants in his regiment of reknown. Or maybe Ironjawz. Or maybe even Spiderfang Grots. Main advantage is that the bonus move would work in the Herder activation thus allowing the use of any other ability in the squig activation but apart from this the herder does not add much more and it costs a Triple…

Where the chain-activation can be useful is on Grib, that is a Boingrot Bounderz with same stats and abilities. Grib not only is more survivable with Toughness 5 and more wounds, but can throw a punch with his 2/5 damage.
