About this deal

Anyway, today it's the turn of the fragrance "Floral", which could actually encourage me to run away immediately. On the one hand, my knowledge of flowers is more than pathetic, as you know, and on the other hand, I always fear stuffy notes in floral fragrances, which always make a perfume very unpleasant for me. But I test it nevertheless. On the one hand, the dear Parfuma who sent me the scent would surely grumble and bitch endlessly if I didn't test it, on the other hand you have to stay at home especially in these Corona times, where you should actually stay more at home (yeah, even in spite of the looseness... don't be stupid people :D Next week you have to wear masks, but the masks do NOT make you invulnerable out there when you are close together! :D), yes we will be entertained, won't we? In spite of his fine statement, he fades away a positive, optimistic mood - which he doesn't let be taken away.

New in fragrance for 2018, is Coach FloralEDP; a bright and breezy fruity floral that’s perfect for the girlie girls out there. Created by perfumers Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège Le Garlantezee and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto with direction from Stuart Vevers, the Creative Director of Coach, this scent is one that is as beautiful on the eyes as it is on the nose. Inspired by the signature leather tea rose that’s synonymous with the Coach brand, Coach Floral opens with sparkling top notes of radiant pineapple sorbet, citrus Coeur and effervescent pink peppercorn, the former of which I found to be very apparent from first smelling this scent. A little later, the scent continues to be sweet, and now the floral notes are mainly rose. Although the fragrance list says rose tea, I actually only perceive roses, there is no trace of tea to smell (what a pity...). In the base, the fruity notes go away even more, the floral notes become more "general floral notes", I mean this in such a way that you know in itself that the fragrance is floral, but without really being able to filter out the floral notes at this point, because even easy to define fragrances like roses fade away and simply smell "floral" as I said.

I was so surprised to see pineapple within the fragrance notes and was unsure as to how it would impact the perfume but its beautiful, such a positive, uplifting fruity note and definitely one that makes Coach Floral stand out from the crowd. Conclusion: Aah, good thing I was testing the scent. Not because I was afraid of the grumbling perfume, but then I would have missed another nice scent. Sure, the scent had a slightly stuffy note, especially in the middle part, but that didn't last too long and it wasn't really disturbing. Today it is once again about a brand unknown to me. Coach. Am I supposed to know that? Is it weird for a frequent commentator not to know the Coach brand? I don't know. Anyway, it's funny that I often seem to have problems to spell the word "coach" correctly, because I almost always write couch, that sitting thing where we put our butts on it :D The smell: The fragrance begins with pineapple (no!!! NOT like in Aventus!!!) as well as slightly spicy and above all fruity-sweet pink pepper. In addition, there is a lot of jasmine, which gives the fragrance another sweet one, which is also flowery. The whole thing also reminds me of delicious chewing gum with berry and other fruity aromas, which I don't mean negatively here, because it smells nice, spring-like and also beautifully feminine. It is in the heart of the perfume that the floral bouquet emerges with notes of rose tea, jasmine sambac and gardenia that soften the scent before it dries down into an elegant base of crystal musks, creamy woods and patchouli which become more apparent with wear. The result is a very girlie, feminine fragrance and definitely one for the younger crowd.
