She seemed sweet, but at times I wasn't sure where she was coming from, there was something 'going on' and I think the author was great in this confusion creating! With her flirty British accent, Gray perfectly delivers the hysterical monologues that Emma, a marketing assistant, directs towards the handsome man sitting next to her on a turbulent flight between Glasgow and London.

There seemed to be a lot of subplots going on, largely at the expense of the central plot, and with the result that most of the underlying plots felt quite rushed and unresolved at the end.Unfortunately, because this book is written in the first person, Jack remains enigmatic throughout, and so just what this super-successful multi- millionaire sees in Emma remains a bit of a mystery, as do certain other things about his character. There are a lot of sub stories and it is a very convoluted journey from Colby holidaying in Australia .

She had a few good ideas, but overall her contribution to the story was being a plain-Jane with a phobia of flying. I think you being worried about running out of things to read is like me worrying about running out of things to watch! The other secondary characters aren’t very dimensional either, but as they are there for mostly comedic purposes, they don’t detract from the story.
