About this deal

Just be aware that, to reach a 'VM95ML' trac(k)ing ability, you'd need to be much higher in the Nagaoka range. High output is assured by using a powerful samarium cobalt magnet, making any standard MM phono input suitable for use with the Nagaoka MP110. It was a given that the Rotel would be superior to the home theater receiver it replaced, but I had no idea it would be better to this extent.

it provides a musical performance that is completely satisfying and fulfilling, while still having the ability to create those "oh, wow" moments. Everything is tested by our dedicated team of in-house reviewers in our custom-built test rooms in London, Reading and Bath.

The higher the impedance, the better your top end - hence I run mine at 82K of impedance, no additional capacitance as I run a moving iron, which is impervious to capacitance, or so Grado says anyway. It came with a Ortofon 2m red which in general sounded good but I did not like the inner groove distortion that I was hearing. We offer the most extensive universe of high quality replacement styli and turntable belts on the planet! Sometimes a clean but slightly worn record will play better with a conical stylus other times with a microline so it’s good to have the options. But I think most people - me included - get cought to some YT vids and the praise for the Nagaoka MP-110 and the hype was there.

Happy to recommend the Nagaoka MP110 for standard Techncis headshell, using standard Techncis wires, on a standard Technics arm. Agreed, and that's when it's convenient to have a conical stylus for the AT-VM95 to pop on ( https://www. But its simple bonded elliptical stylus doesn’t give as much fine detail or the same guarantees of no inner groove distortion (igd) as the VM95ml. The MicroLine tip lasts longer than the plain elliptical of the MP-110 at their respective tracking forces, and has a very small 'equivalent scanning radius', which provides accurate reproduction of loud and high frequency material.Be aware that, with the finer profile of a MicroLine, you'll need to ensure that your records are very clean (otherwise the stylus will dig dirt from the bottom of the grooves, leading to higher surface noise, distortion and premature wear of the stylus). The design guarantees that it is capable of handling daily use while still delivering consistent, high-quality auditory experiences. There is so much information resting in those vinyl grooves and we want to help you retrieve as much of it as possible. The MP110 boasts precise groove tracking, which is critical in maintaining the integrity of your vinyl.
