About this deal

As well as playing with up to six people, Cluedo Escape can be played in a single-player solo mode. While the solution remains the same in each playthrough and it's a one-and-done deal, nothing is modified or destroyed and the box can be fully reset - meaning you can pass it on to friends once you’re finished. To mark the game’s release in the UK, Hasbro is running a competition featuring three themed ‘playcations’ (groan appropriately) in mansions around England, each of which will be themed with Cluedo props ahead of the winner’s stay - if you’ve ever fancied the idea of sleeping in a real murder house. This upcoming Clue title brings a new environment but some familiar characters and components. It’s suitable for one to six players and for ages 10 and up. The story? Well, it involves an untimely death. Hasbro You’re a guest at Mr. Boddy’s mansion when suddenly you hear a shriek, the lights go out and you find Mr. Boddy dead! You and your fellow players are then put to the ultimate test: Work together to escape the mansion, as well as determine who killed Mr. Boddy, where they did it and with what weapon. Hasbro Hasbro The players must escape from the mansion before pointing the finger at their prime suspect using the clues to hand. Tudor Close in Rottingdean, near Brighton, is described as being the inspiration for Cluedo’s iconic board layout. Early editions of the murder-mystery board game were called Murder at Tudor Close, before it was later retitled by publisher Waddingtons. Cluedo Escape: Treachery at Tudor Mansion features the familiar characters and story of the original. With the murder mystery genre enjoying renewed popularity thanks to Hollywood films like Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and the newly published Agatha Christie biography by Lucy Worsley, demand is likely to be high. Instead of racing against each other to solve the crime first via the iconic combination of who, where and with what, players must now work together to explore the mansion’s rooms and solve puzzles to uncover the solution.
