I'm a fan of his work and I agree with KatCassidy - most non-'Bat' albums have their moments, but also contain several clunkers. The one that comes closest to Bat I is the follow-up album from 1981, Dead ringer. It has the same build-up as Bat 1, even including a spoken word intro. Most songs were written bij Jim Steinman, but he did not produce this one. It's a kind of Bat 1, but of lesser quality.
