The orchid, peony, and vanilla blend so well together, with sugar in the background as well as the apricot blossom. By the fragrantica notes shown above I was looking forward to a sort of hard candy, confectionery, fruity scent. What I had remembered as a sweet gourmand surprised me by being more floral and more like a sweet peony scent. The dry-down is clean and floral, but unlike Fantasy, has a distinct citrus note that is somewhat sharp as compared to the sweet, creamy, smoothness of Fantasy's dry down. Youthful and cheery but I like the musk, vanilla and iris giving it freshness, airyness and creamier quality.

After a while, however, I don’t notice the lemony scent any longer, and at that point the fragrance settles into the aquatic blue cotton candy smell I mentioned before. I guess it's just so far off base from Fantasies previous productions, something different perhaps that would suit younger girls, or women who weren't fond of Britney's super sweet offerings.You’re supposed to cut up oranges and mix them with pie spices and boil it and let it bless your house. My older formulation is stronger and more enjoyable for me but if you like these scent profiles, you will like it. The fragrance features sweet orange, tangerine, grapefruit blossom, verbena, clove, Napolitano cake, Stargazer lily, Sambac jasmine, vanilla bean, Jacaranda wood, sandalwood and amber.

The top notes do reminds me of fruits of amor amor 2003, but as the hours go by, it reminds me aquatic perfumes like light blue. If you are having a bad day wear this perfume, and it will make you feel better, this is a happy perfume, like liquid sunshine. This is 1 of the few perfumes from her Fantasy series that I would actually wear and I do wear this perfume quite often. I really enjoy this: it is not as overly sweet as the other Fantasy I have smelled, and is something that I enjoy smelling throughout the wear time of this fragrance. We understand that fragrance can be unisex, but some of us feel the need to express ourselves through more feminine leaning perfumes or perfumes marketed for women.Granted, in that first initial spray, Circus Fantasy opens with a very familiar tangy citrus and berry mix that I definitely appreciate has some likeness to Amor Amor.

Upon the initial spray, you can smell it being sprayed and can smell it clearly because of the sharp citrus and woody opening but other then that, it becomes a very faint skin scent very quickly and doesn't last long. On my husband it's smelled more like a powder soap at first for some reason but than after it settled it smelled more like flowers and a little fruity/ citrus.
