About this deal

The purple colour in the branding represents the passionfruit fragrance note in here, which along with pear and pink grapefruit makes the opening notes super fruity and fun. I am Daisy. The ultimate youthful spirit. Charming and sophisticated. I am the elegant essence of Marc Jacobs. I'm in the minority again here, but I think it would be a bit "much" on a teenager and it suits me as a 30-something mother. It strikes a nice middle ground where it is youthful but definitely in the territory of grown-up perfume. I agree with the reviewer vsmr that it would be perfectly appropriate for night and I have enjoyed it in winter-- it really blooms under a cozy sweater! It's medium-loud and I can't overspray or it's too much. I get whiffs on my clothes into the next day, so I'd say longevity is impressive. Daisy opens with a sweet strawberry note, freshened by some light citrus. A prominent violet note emerges early on, light and lovely, more dewy and green than powdery and melancholic. It is joined by some barely-there sweet white florals.

Longevity & projection is poor but this is a very inoffensive fragrance and I can see this as a signature & office scent. It’s very fresh & clean smelling. I’m scent sensitive and I would consider this a safe blind buy because it’s so wearable. It starts off as described, with kind of a burst of fruity and floral notes, nothing special, but as the base and heart notes come out, it becomes a warm, comforting, but also clean scent. I think it’s the musk and a little bit of wood annd vanilla alongside the floral. Whatever it is, it’s so nice! It’s so light and charming, and honestly weirdly comforting? On me, it almost has a skin scent type smell because of the ozonic notes, which I loveeeee. I usually wear perfumes with more “personality” but when I just want to feel fresh and clean, this and Mojave Ghost from Byredo is my go to.

I joined a fragrance club at my favorite online discounter (my primary dealer, you might say), and Daisy EDT was my first selection, a travel-size of the original Daisy EDT, which I am given to understand is quite basic but which I suspected I would like, on the basis of the parfumier, Morillas, and the notes (all my floral fave raves, plus some fruit that I felt cautiously optimistic about). And indeed, what do you know, I am become normie, I guess, for I love this demure little concoction, with its delicate violet shadows, discreet vanilla-tempered musks, and white florals that plumb forgot they were the sexual organs of plants and wouldn't know an indole if it bit 'em in their sweet little powderpuff asses. Daisy opens with the natural freshness of wild strawberry, violet leaves and red grapefruit. The heart of gardenia, violet petals and jasmine petals is velvety and luminous. Musk, vanilla infusion and white sandalwood rounds the balance of notes with warm sensuality. Features

This is followed by a floral bouquet of wisteria, lilly-of-the-valley, jasmine and a hint of violet. Marc Jacobs Daisy Twinkle, as indicated by the purple branding, is a violet fragrance. Violet is one of the notes in the original Daisy but here it is the star of the show. The base is feminine, warm and woodiness isn't dark. Moreover this scent is bright, airy and comforting. Graceful floral scent, timeless and attracitve. Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet is one of my favourite Daisy bottles and marketing campaigns; I love the pink and purple colours and the name ‘Sorbet’ reminds me of fruity freshness! This 2012 version of Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine is a fun tropical guava fragrance ideal for hot summer days. This is simply the best perfume ever made. Period. It’s just so fresh and floral. So well rounded. I cannot express how much I love this fragrance. My wife likes more Ambery sweet scents but she always says that she gets compliments on this every time she leaves the house. As a male smelling this, it makes me weak in the knees. It is just pure perfection. It’s a very perfumy scent, in which the individual notes don’t really stand out. It’s pretty and light, and I guess it’s well liked, because it has a sparkly quality. To me however, nothing truly stands out to make it interesting. I’ve had a bottle of this for years and I hardly reach for it, because I’m not drawn to it. It’s too bland, too synthetic and too generic.

Delicate, feminine, and lighthearted. Great for someone with girly taste who doesn't want to go overboard. It's modern, fun, and simple. I saw a woman on YouTube saying this gives her “streetwear, cool girl, skater girl vibes” and she is not wrong. This evokes a 14 year old girl who just took a fresh shower 🧼 and she smells fresh and clean and now she is leaving the house with her hair dripping wet. But spritzing this was actually the PERFECT reminder to appreciate the beauty of spring time. Even the rainy days. Daisy Love. A care-free contagious love of life celebrated in radiant florals and unexpected sparkling gourmand twists. This scent is delightful. Juicy-sour fruitiness, a touch of aquatic notes, all supporting the sunny florals. It's feminine and innocent but not not sweet, and it's noticeable but not heavy. It seems easily blind buy-able and gift-able because it's just that pleasant and agreeable and appropriate for any age.And as far as the cause of the infamous headache, I’ve been thinking .. was it Daisy Dream I was wearing? Who knows! Anyway, the original Daisy is not headache-inducing (for me, at least).

The scent ironically doesn’t actually have any daisy perfume notes in. Instead Marc Jacobs Daisy is actually a violet fragrance with a lot of super fresh ozionic notes like grapefruit and gardenia. A hint of strawberry tops off the top notes and helps make the perfume feel quite young and carefree. I already own several fragrances that are highly reminiscent of Daisy: Yellow Diamond, Eclat de Fleurs and Vince Camuto's FIori and I can definitely smell the resemblance to Chance Eau Tendre (which I don't yet own) as well. I guess it's fair to say that this my favorite genre of fragrance and Daisy is just as beautiful an iteration of it as any of these, if not as strong unfortunately. On paper it smells just like a fruitier, younger and more uplifting version of j'adore! Call me crazy but it smells just like an unsophisticated fun little sister Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine was a limited edition released alongside a limited edition Daisy Eau so Fresh Sunshine. I don't dislike it though. Overall it has the character of an independent cheerful feminine figure to me. I'm imagining an office worker with decent wage and proper lifestyle, she knows what she likes and knows how to manage to achieve it. Not an ambitious type of person who's pursuing success in life, she just enjoys life and deal with it. Friendly but not cheap, tender but not weak, just like the blooming daisy under the warm sun.
