The Nitecore HC65 V2 is a powerful and compact headlamp equipped with three different light sources. From night fishing to long distance running, there is a Nitecore headlamp designed to suit your needs. I thought I’d miss the Lenser’s zoom facility, but the Nitecore manages to provide a great floodlight so the spotlight isn’t needed. This was not the cheapest head lamp on the market, but once it had been delivered you can feel it is high quality. From off you can also instantly access the turbo by pressing and holding the button until it bypasses the memorised mode and enters turbo, or while the light is on turbo can be momentarily accessed for 30 seconds by double pressing the button.A high CRI auxiliary white light renders colors more like sunlight and can be used for an upclose flood of light when reading or working while an auxiliary red light helps users preserve night vision in dark environments. it is neat how a headlamp light is situated from a higher elevation than a flashlight (down by your hips generally if you are hiking).
