About this deal

These state-of-the-art babies use optical components to give you near-instantaneous actuation – with input that registers nearly three times faster than those from mechanical switches. The main features are also highlighted here, letting us know that Cooler Master included optional grip tape with the Cooler Master MM731, something which usually is an aftermarket addition for most gaming mice.

There are two primary switches on top, a scroll wheel, an RGB-backlit Cooler Master logo, and two thumb switches on the left-hand side. There are several factors (firmware, mounting height of the sensor not meeting specifications, mouse feet thickness, mousing surface, among others) which may contribute to nominal CPI not matching actual CPI. It has a comfortable, right-handed shape suitable for all grip types, a flexible paracord-like cable, and mouse feet that glide smoothly on mousepads and desks. As mentioned the naming of this feature made me think that the profile would be selected(opened) if the application was launched. I really like the classic Intellimouse-inspired shape that Cooler Master went with for the MM530/ MM531, and there was no chance on Earth — or any mythical place in existence — that I was going to give up the chance to experience a similar ergonomic shape, but now lighter and wireless.I personally game and work with the Cooler Master MM731 set at 1700 DPI, which is perfectly accurate without jitter, acceleration or angle snapping. With all of that housed in a super-lightweight, revolutionary new ergonomic shell design that reduces the weight to 59g, the MM731 truly is less than the sum of its parts. Keep in mind that your operating system may have this option enabled by default and if its enabled in the OS, it will not show as enabled in the application, which in my opinion is reasonable.

The Cooler Master MM731 is good for MMO gaming, but it doesn't have nearly as many side buttons as a dedicated MMO gaming mouse, but all the buttons it does have are programmable. According to specifications, the 3370 is capable of up to 19,000 CPI, as well as a maximum tracking speed of 400 IPS, which equals 10. The Cooler Master MM731 is an exceptional lightweight gaming mouse with a straightforward look and a pronounced right-handed shape. However, that is desirable to players that wish to aligned the sensor with the tip of their thumb or fingertips for maximum accuracy, and the MM731's positioning is notably further forward than the Logitech G Pro Superlight. As you can see from the plot, no displacement between the two cursor paths can be observed, which confirms that SRAV is very low.Using the "High" setting, the sensor does track at a height of 1 DVD, but not at a height of 2 DVDs (1.

Unlike other mice in Cooler Master's MM710 series, like the Cooler Master MM710 or Cooler Master MM711, this mouse has a solid plastic shell rather than a body with honeycomb cutouts to reduce weight. It doesn’t matter if you’re a student on a tight budget, a graphic designer that’s brand new to building, or a veteran modder of high-end gaming PCs; we offer components to inspire creative freedom in everyone. First, I'm looking at two xCounts plots—generated at 1600 and 19,000 CPI—to quickly gauge whether there is any smoothing, which would be indicated by any visible "kinks. There has been some effort to mould the overall design better to a gamer's grip, though, and the gentle slope up and away from the left-hand side of the mouse does make for a comfortable grip. Being a leader in innovation, design and production of computer hardware, Cooler Master has grown to be the industries leaders for PC hardware since its inception two decades ago.The Cooler Master MM731 is an exceptional lightweight wireless gaming mouse, while the GLORIOUS Model D is an excellent lightweight wired gaming mouse. My main bugbear is with the LED that illuminates to different colours on the underside of the mouse when you switch DPI, which is not represented at all within the app. The naming convention makes it sound as if the profile will be selected if an application is opened. Cooler Master have already outfitted your mouse right out of the box with PTFE feet, a common mod in enthusiast mice circles. I wish it was behind the scroll wheel like most mice, but I guess some sacrifices had to be made to achieve this level of weightlessness.
