It's the first new launch for Milkybar since the very exciting announcement of their Milkybar Mini Eggs Bar last year (which we're still massive fans of).

Outside of the office, you can usually find Louella in the kitchen cooking for friends, performing very badly in pub quizzes or shaking up a margarita or two. Gold chocolate is fast becoming the chocolate of 2023, and while we've already seen some pretty delicious-sounding gold choc launches so far this year, the internet seems very excited about the newest launch from Milkybar: a GOLD version of their famous white chocolate.First launched in the UK in the 1930s, the Milkybar was celebrated for its unique use of milk in a white chocolate bar. With a history steeped in tradition and a taste that resonates with modern palates, the Milkybar Gold continues to shine as a symbol of the sheer joy that a well-crafted chocolate bar can bring. I hope this isn't the end product and they tweak it just slightly because it was, for me, a tiny bit on the grainy side and I don't know if that was the caramelised part or the block itself.

Upon unwrapping the first thing that hit us was the unmistakable, sweet, rich caramel aroma, although the chocolate itself looked exactly the same as any other bar …….
