There's an epic battle in which 5 armies fight for London, and there are a few nice little jokey asides.

Struggled a bit with this due to verbose prose, minimally developed characters and overstuffed plot. That's a problem with this reader and not the narrative, but it kept me from enjoying the story as much as I could have.
