About this deal

Are these inexpensive “postcards” growing on you, or do you continue to prefer the higher realism (and higher cost) of the LEGO Archtiecture Skylines? We have been trading online now for over 15 years so you can trust us to provide you with your family favourites wherever you are in the world. We build up some wharfs, and then start work on Big Ben (or, the Victoria Tower), using alternating layers of vertical telescopes and wedge plates.

Big Ben stands a paltry 315’ as compared to the Tower in 40568, and yet it’s actually taller in the set by about 1 plate. You might notice a single stud to hold the hot air balloon from part 2 of the build, and one of the newish 2×2 bracket plates (part 6250018) that is used to build the top of the Eiffel Tower. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Brick and Knob configurations, the Minifigure, DUPLO and LEGOLAND are trademarks of the LEGO Group. I think in this case seeing as it would be difficult to depict such a small scaled light, it might look better to simply remove it from the scene. The tower itself consists of 5 sections topped with the clock section whereas the build only shows two of these sections but even with just that, it’s clearly still everyone’s favorite timepiece. The stickers on the name plates are particularly on brand for what I expect to see on a postcard, reflecting the iconic bowler hat in London, and reflecting the iconic Art Nouveau stylings seen on the Parisian Metro. Originally created in 2001 with a focus on larger bucket sets, the LEGO Creator theme has expanded outside just bricks to later include minifigures. The set features a complete collection of LEGO bricks to build famous buildings such as the Big Ben, London Eye, and Tower Bridge.

You may not be able to get to Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose, Marks and Spencers or John Lewis but we can go there for you so you need never miss out on those homely treats that you love so much.Perhaps Piccadilly is something that folks from Britain or the European Union are more familiar with, but for this states side gal, I wouldn’t have a clue what the building was without more information. I think I can forgive this one, even with the huge disparity, but it does show the stark difference in heights and how these are icons of their real structures. Postcards are frequently photographic composites of major sights in a city, and so I feel it is fine to put the elements together in the way that they have, without needing to be as exacting as with skylines. We recommend the fabulous Marks and Spencer Salted Caramel Sauce to add that special something to your ice cream or their White Chocolate Fudge Sauce - a real favourite of our grandchildren!

LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure and the brick and knob configurations are trademarks and/or copyrights of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. Throw in a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate or a bar of Divine Dark Chocolate and you will be a happy bunny! We put the sky field/skyline onto the backof the base, and fill in the balloon, and build in the top of the tower. I have to admit, I wasn’t a fan of the stickers for the London Eye, but overall, I appreciate the way those stickers add to the details, while not leaving printed elements to live on with a single purpose. With Paris, the extreme differences in height work to create a proper feeling of the city but let’s crunch the numbers on this one. The Eiffel tower makes great use of the plate with bar element to set up the grille tiles as supporting girders for the tower. This super cool gift features some of the UK's most famous sights: Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, the London Eye and a red double-decker bus. Like Paris, we start with the sky field, and the buildings in the distance seem to have filled up this background a little more here, compared with Paris. As part of the scenery, a small red car is included driving the roundabout in front of the Arc de Triomphe, and here the color is rather jarring in red.
