About this deal

It's made by infusing Amaretti del Chiostro di Saronno biscuits in alcohol, creating a flavour that is both unique and unmistakable. So my point is, if youre vegan (like me) or have an egg allergy, or just think its plain weird to have egg in your liqueur, get another brand! First, the biscuits are crushed into small pieces which are then soaked in an hydroacoholic solution for one month to enrich it with an aromatic taste and the intense flavour of the biscuits. Scoring 93 points out of 100, Lazzaroni Amaretto was considered 'exceptional' by the BTI tasting panel.

Raise a glass of Lazzaroni Amaretto Liqueur and immerse yourself in the timeless allure of Italian craftsmanship and indulgence. We've travelled the length and breath of Italy to bring you the real flavours of Italy in our extensive range of the finest Italian food and drink. If you do require precise ingredient information you should consult the manufacturer, whose contact details will appear on the packaging or label. Awarded 93 points out of 100 by the Beverage Testing Institute, which is the most authoritative, influential, and respected annual spirits competition in the United States.

I think Disaronno and other premium brands have shown that chicken ovum are not required for taste or texture. Sacla’ was born in Italy in 1939, in the town of Asti, Northwest of Italy and arrived in the UK in 1990, the year of the football World cup in Italy. Whether enjoyed as a digestif or as an ingredient in your favorite libations, this amaretto liqueur is sure to enhance any occasion. Lazzaroni Amaretto 1851 is still produced and bottled according to the original recipe by Paolo and Davide Lazzaroni. Unlike pretty much every other amaretto liqueur Ive tried in my 4 decades on earth, this one chooses to use eggs in the ingredients. I do agree with the other reviewer though, check ingredients, this is not vegan and contains egg white (unlike other brands).Lazzaroni Amaretto is the only liqueur made from the famous Amaretti del Chiostro biscuits, a speciality of the town of Saronno in the region of Lombardy in northern Italy. The resulting liqueur is thick and velvety with freshly-baked aromas of marzipan and allspice that leads into a sumptuous palate of fudge, vanilla, roasted almonds, coffee, and brown sugar.
