Used properly as part of your routine, it’s really effective with ensuring all of you products are working their best. I tend to get my fingers into it and scoop out a little onto the tips of two or three fingers which I then spread evenly around my face before I start massaging in. I will finish continue my Big Beauty Pie review over the next few weeks, finishing off the skincare section and then on to the makeup. The moisturisers I tried ( jeju, super healthy skin) were ok but way too heavily fragranced … I don’t think any of their products are fragrance free and that’s what I’m after ( especially now I have a newborn. Championing a Japanese approach to skincare, the products are simple, easy to use, high quality and contain seriously efficacious ingredients such as vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, ceramides and peptides that don't risk damaging the skin.

I had high hopes for the Superdrops Flash Facelift, but after using an entire bottle, I didn’t see any noticeable change at all. After much deliberation, I finally took the plunge and joined up to become a member of Beauty Pie last year. The second eye cream was for my husband though, as he tried my original pot and found it agrees with his sensitive eyes.A] beautiful antioxidant-infused high-tech gel-to-oil-to-milk cleansing balm demonstrates that mastery. I saw no improvement in my skin whatsoever and although it was a nice cream to use, the lack of scent and indulgence factor made it feel like a real waste of my allowance. It’s not drying or stripping so you can use it if you have dry skin, it’s also not creamy and thick so you’d still love it if you have oily skin. Tocopherol (also known as Vitamin E) is a common antioxidant used to help protect the skin from free-radicals and strengthen the skin barrier. It contains fission-Y to strengthen the skin barrier (the key to great skin), jabara fruit to deliver vitamin C antioxidant protection and brighten, as well as a special humectant that acts in a very similar, skin-plumping way to hyaluronic acid.

I am currently on my third bottle of this, I use two pumps in the morning and the same at night, I love it. I’m a fan of Beauty Pie – I love the apricot cleansing balm and the QI energy moisturiser and think the quality of products overall is excellent. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.

It has taken 19 days for me to finish this cleanser but bear in mind I did use it twice a day every day ( there may have been an occasion where I used it 3 times but who’s counting lol) I also used it to remove makeup. For the morning it’s quick to dry, making makeup application easier and I also include my eyelid too, which seems to make eyeshadow have more staying power too. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I won’t lie, I’ve not been particularly fond of any of the makeup I’ve tried from the first and only experience I’d had with Beauty Pie, up until this point.

Another product that isn't a must but is a nice addition for those with drier skin is this intensely moisturising mask. Before I get into why that is, let me first explain the concept of Beauty Pie to those who don't already know. Personally that’s all good by me as I’m not an apricot fan when it comes to scent or flavour, but I didn’t let that put me off trying to put this to the test.

I was a little too eager though and used them a couple of days in a row and managed to damage my skin barrier around the sides and under my nose.
