I became so engrossed in the story and it's outcome that I forgot to stop reading and had to find out. After graduating with a first class honours degree in English Literature from Oxford University, she began her first job, working with emotionally disturbed children in Sheffield. There are some interjections of wry and dark humour throughout the book which I enjoy and the way the novel ends is extremely apt.
