Mostly because the '35' reminded me of the Fenix classic (the TK35), I would have expected the LR35R to be the same size.In terms of charging time it won't make a big difference, if your batteries are dead keep a charging time of two and a half to three hours into account. The colour of the beam is nice and even, without that blue or green hue you often see in cheaper lights. Let me here tell why Thrunite and Acebeam now belong to my favorite brands: low, mid and high are memorised while firefly and turbo instead have direct access. The ONLY downside for me is the sheath, you cannot open it with one hand and it is almost impossible to do with gloves on as there is a Velcro strap which fastens around the torch.
