About this deal

The display looks very clear and the numbers displayed are of a large size which gives you a proper vision of the time without much effort. As with the F-91W, there are plenty of stories of people going as far as diving with their Casio A158W watches, however, as the watch has a stated water resistance of just 30m, it’s not something I’d personally recommend. Despite its stainless steel construction, the A158WA-1DF sits comfortably on the wrist, making it suitable for extended wear. While it’s certainly not a big watch and will suit most wrist sizes, the added depth in particular will be noticeable if you have skinny wrists.

The bracelet makes a great substitute for another bracelet on another watch, moving that watch closer to looking like the real thing.

One interesting point to note is the contrast between the brushed appearance of the bracelet and the polished look of the case. A stylish update of a classic Casio design, this retro timepiece is built for stellar contemporary styling. Come join the discussion about watch collections, displays, watch winders, accessories, classifieds, and more! This classic time piece brings up alot of memories of the 90ies and because of that is perfect for my little colletion. The contrast of the LCD against the background is good for my old eyes and the time display is large enough I can read without my reading glasses.

With the Casio A168, the watch is bigger but isn’t much heavier, making it seem less dense on-wrist.

The CASIo indication is trivial to counterfeit as well, and it would only be a matter of time before new counterfeits included that check. Also I suspect in many cases it is part and parcel of more serious crime and the fakes are just a way of moving or laundering cash and covering up paper trials.

To use the timer function, push the bottom button on the side of the watch to set the second hand to zero (if it’s not on zero yet) and push the top button to start and stop timing. This Casio F91W alternative is another low-cost bargain, which has been around for many years and may, in fact, be the preferable choice for a lot of people.Kashio Tadao established Tokio Casio in 1957, a company known for mass producing calculators for the first time which, up until then, were machines assembled on top of tables. The Bad, for me, is that the light for night viewing doesn't illuminate the entire time area making it hard for me to read at night with old eyes . Its sleek and modern style makes it a popular choice for individuals who want a functional and stylish watch.
