I understand that you've been going for the ringer but Jayne and Hadrian deserved a little more maybe a tad more backstory Jane is an intrical part of all the books from the nyk all the way to bastion's book. It also helped that when they needed help they both knew the same people and they could vouch for the other. Kudos to McQueen (Kenyon) for giving us another story that pulls us away from all we need to escape while giving us a clear view on what matters most. If Jayne doesn't fulfill her contract and kill Hadrian, she'll be the next target on the League's menu. This book is filled with hints and other information that when combined with old books, definately pay out and explain a lot of things!

At this stage I don’t think I’ll be switching the prologue around - but any further childhood memories will happen in flashbacks.Please be patient as Sherri and her publisher work together to get the books her fans love back into production and out to the fans who have been so eagerly waiting for them. Jayne takes a contract to bring Hadrian in but after she signs it, the contract is changed to a kill and other assains also arrive to kill him. It requires a strong hand to keep its rivals at bay, and for years King Cleomenes’ strength did just that.
