Sound quality is average, why stream Qobuz, Tidal or any other high quality data stream onto a average/mediocre DAC ? You can also add other Arylic devices to build a multiroom system, manage and control all your audio devices in one app (4STREAM)!If you are on a tight budget, looking for a streamer that works well, takes up negligible real estate and you have a system that is relevant (not hugely resolving) then I think the Arylic is a sensible choice. I noticed a pretty dynamic sound that’s not compressed or distorted with S10, and volume is never a problem since you’ll be using it with an external amplifier for volume control. Once you’ve paired it and set up your input, scroll back up a bit and you’ll see the options you have at your disposal as far as streaming services. I see this amp as great for individuals/families starting their first homes, an easy all-in-one just add speakers solution. I wanted to see if the S10 would work with my receiver using universal ports and I’m happy to report that it does.

All I know is that I want something like S10 but expandable with external DAC ( S10 lacks Digital Out connector). The Arylic S10 is a tiny, USB-powered, wired or wireless streamer that does 24bit/192kHz, Airplay, Spotify Connect, QPlay, DLNA, UPnP, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, etc. I would say yes, but only if you have older gear that needs a middleman, or entry-level active speakers like Edifiers or Presonus’ that you want to stream music with without the need for a PC or laptop.Connecting an external Amplifier like SMSL AO200 to it, using a pair of NHT C3 Speakers, or connecting Edifier S1000DB to S10, I hear a really clean and fun presentation. However, on another system this trick did not work, and the noise pulsing was still audible over the music. What also makes the S10 such an outstanding preamplifier is that it supports High-Res Music streaming.
