In this post I am looking at the Anastasia Moonchild Glow Kit but I also have the brand new Sweets glow kit and that is coming soon! I hope some of you will find this helpful in identifying fake Anastasia glow kits, I certainly wish I’d known this at the time!

The actual palette was dented in both sides and one powdered was completely smashed and another was dry looked like it was going to crack. If you do plan on putting on a lot (like me, because I can never get enough highlighter), I would recommend that you put it on with your finger or spritz some kind of makeup mist/setting spray to blend it more into the skin, since the formula is a bit dry.The real one is reflecting the true ‘blue’ colour scheme of the palette as opposed to the fake one which is boasting more neutral tones and just looks untidy. Some shades look quite intimidating but I can tell you not to be afraid they are all about reflecting the light, they won’t leave a coloured stripe across your face. I think you’ll all know that these past few weeks have seen the Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall collection drop and break the internet. Until now, that is 🙂 I definitely think I’m going to get a lot of use out of this palette even though the shades are pretty “out there”!

As you can see evidently, the fake one is seriously lacking in quality, just looking at the cardboard sleeve! I actually think it makes it look nicer that way and much more wearable/accessbile for everyday fun. At first glance these look a little too brightly colored to make effective highlights, but I think if you apply them correctly, anyone could pull off any of these, even on just a regular day! Now I don't see them so glittery like before,but I forget I have them and I always use single highlighters and not palettes.For best results, and to best accentuate your natural features, apply where the sun naturally hits the skin.
