About this deal

Although often advertised for rabbits and guines pigs (it's not big enough for them) this is great for hamsters. With any tank style they can feel a bit exposed so it's quite important to have plenty of enrichment - accessories etc and a good house, so they have somewhere to retreat to and something to sit under.

Had to pop a bamboo rod through the holes in top piece (designed for water bottle) as Peanut (the mouse) would definitely have been able to squeeze through and escape! Although tanks look a lot nicer than barred cages, a barred cage can be a very good option for a Syrian and end up costing a lot less. For your pet's safety, there are two small clips on the top that allow you to keep the mesh tightly closed. Duna Multy is a sturdy plastic cage for hamsters and mice, with a transparent roof and a wire mesh grid, designed to ensure proper air flow inside. I also have a large glass tank containing a Russian dwarf, which is better in terms of allowing more depth for digging, but is impossible to move and much harder to clean. If you get the Hamster Heaven though it really works best without all the plastic contents - ie the tubes removed (they are too small to be safe anyway), the Penthouse removedand one of the shelves removed. It works well with a bendy stick tunnel over the door as the door is quite large - that makes it darker inside which hamsters like - and they need somewhere dark to retreat to. diameter to 12" - most people find 11" diameter is good - it is easier for them to run in a bigger wheel and they need to run with a straight back to avoid back pain etc in future. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Como jaula para hámsters es ideal, entra una rueda de 27 cm de diámetro (recomiendo comprobar las medidas antes de comprar la jaula), es espaciosa y cómoda de limpiar. There is also the Hamster Heaven which maybe looks a bit nicer - and also has a big front opening door (front opening access is what makes me go with cages rather than tanks as it allows for very good interaction with the hamster and easier to sort things in the cage). It's about 100x50cm which is 800sq inches approximately, far above the RSPCA requirements for all Syrian, Chinese (who are not dwarves as they have a different genus) and Dwarf hamsters. If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact contact us. The maxi duna multi is quite expensive compared to the standard duna multy, but it is a lovely cage. Leaving the solid shelf gives a level and removing the other shelf gives space for a good sized wheel. If you don't like the idea of a shoebox for a house, this house works well - it has a lift off roof so you can check inside without needing to take the house out - prevents their nest falling apart). The only downsides are that it would be good if it was somewhat taller, to allow for deeper substrate; and if you have a hamster that particularly loves to chew, they have been known to chew their way out (although this hasn't happened with mine).
